the day started off with our favorite breakfast treat, a blueberry bagel.
mine with strawberry cream cheese. his with butter.
then off we went, down the 405, down the 5, down the 805.
to reach our destination: Coronado Island.
It was beautiful! I’ve never been, so it was a wonderful surprise!
in tow, Daniel brought our bicycles, so that we could ride around the beautiful island. we rode to the Hotel Del Coronado, and then took a little walking break.
here is proof of where we stopped.
after lunch, we stopped at a little gem of a french bistro. it was delicious!
here we are at the bistro.
we ate our lunch, and rode some more, stopping by the wonderful shoreline to take a picture.
we crossed back over the bridge and went to seaport village, where daniel shared some of his favorite sentimental stores with me.
we sat on a stone wall, while daniel enjoyed his seven dollar ice cream cone. it was worth every bite.
we strolled the streets of the gaslamp district, finding a gem of a vase for 50% of a 50% off price. fabulous!
after a pleasant visit with his parents, we proceeded to our final destination: Chart House in Dana Point. A wonderful restaurant resting on the cliff that overlooks Dana Point Harbor.
Daniel is wonderful. I can’t wait for many more years together.
