For my graduation gift, Nellie and I went to Maui for five days. it was relaxing and fun, and i had a great time. catch some glimpses of our trip!

the end of a chapter.

Graduation (May 28th, 2009) marked the end of a chapter of my life, a day that many in my family looked forward to. here is a documentation of one of my “big days”.

 

this was the beauty team, to whom i am very thankful: gina and aaron anderson.

here was the stage for the day. my mom and maggie got there that day at a record breaking 6:00am.

here is the “journalism” flag, as my peers and i followed anxiously behind.

i was really nervous because my seat was on the complete other side of the bleachers from my family. i nervously tried to find them. daniel’s paparazzi lens was able to spot me.

 

and i spotted them!

The day was very exciting for me. and it meant a lot to me that my family was there to support me. a day i will never forget.

today i leave for five days, to celebrate my graduation, in Maui.

I’ve never been, and I’m thrilled. Danielle and I catch our flight at 4:45pm, and arrive at 7:20pm. and will be home on friday night.

it’s gonna be so fun to go to a new place! i have no list of things i want to do, which is very unlike me, but i’m just excited to go to hawaii.

it will be fun to meet up with the coetzee’s and the anderson’s :)

 

ahhh i can’t waitt!!

well, that's a wrap.

tuesday concluded my last day of college. i completed my last final, for my last class. shockingly, this last semester has been a breeze. and i'm not gonna complain about it for one minute.
so what now? work full time, until i go to graduate school to get my master's.

graduation is next thursday, and i still have yet to find the cutest dress that will go under my wretched, black, polyester gown. gotta keep looking.

after graduation, i'm going to lunch with my dad's side of the family. should be interesting. and on saturday, my mom is doing a little get-together for the occasion, should be even more interesting.

so, caps off to me.

now if you know anything about me, i love the color pink, but don’t like wearing it, or owning anything of that shade of color. i guess i’m just in one of those moods, because i really like and am lusting after these items.
