testimony.

I read somewhere that a testimony is defined as a telling of a person's own Christian life.
I find that accurate. But I would add a little more to that.

Last night, I heard the testimony of someone really special in my life. A person I feel I know fairly well. The things he talked about were all things I knew about him, but when hearing his testimony and how God has worked in and through his life by the experiences he has overcome, is truly incredible and a blessing.

One thing I've learned is that everyone has a different testimony, albeit some have similar experiences, God shows people different things through various experiences.

Not one day goes by when I don't thank God for the place he has put me in. And the things I have experienced in my twenty-one years on this earth. And I'm so grateful for the strength I've gained, and the faith that has been renewed time and time again. The testimony last night reminded me that God will never give up on me, even when I give up on myself. His plan for my life is more than I can even imagine for myself.

There have been seasons of rough waters for me, and God held my hand through it all. Something that deserves undeniable faith and commitment to a God who loves me unconditionally.

new season.

so, it seems like i make/start a new blog every other month or so. it's a bad habit, for which i have little motivation to continue on a consistent basis. but this time will be different. or will it? guess we'll wait to see.

i've been busy lately. keeping and staying busy. which is good considering i get bored really quickly. and yearn for new things all the time. which may be an explanation for the multiple jobs i've had simultaneously. but i've gotten better. to quote my friend alex, who is always quick to point out the obvious, "wow, you only have two jobs right now?"

i am finishing my last semester at csulb. graduating in may. working at enzoani as executive assistant. similar to anne hathaway in the devil wears prada, but not at all. that's the best explanation i can come up with.

am i nervous to graduate? my answer: not at all. i'm thrilled. i'm more anxious to see what God has planned for me after graduation. whether it's to join the american work force, or continue to work and take on graduate school at the same time. who knows. i'm sure he'll show me at His time.

have more time in your day? you should visit a few friends pages':

i'm gonna get better at blogging. pinky promise. (sidenote: why is it that the pinky bears the biggest weight in carrying a promise? how can a pinky...one of the smallest body parts... be responsible for keeping a secret? that's a huge task for such a limited body part. just a thought).

xoxo
